I cleaned up my room earlier this week and finally realized it was time to do something about the shoes and jewelry that I have run out of storage space for. I have had the white cork board (Mom said she thinks it came from Marshals ??) for a few months but haven't gotten around to putting it up so I started with that. Then, I went to my favorite store, Walmart and found an awesome 50 pair shoe rack for only about $30. There are no longer shoes and jewelry stuffed everywhere! xoxo, Em

Tuesday, January 6th 2015 Shoes: MossimoSupply Co Shirt: Loft Best: Old Navy Watch: Michael Kors ( from Shelby's closet, thanks Shelby ) Bangles: Bourbon and Bow ties Jeans: Target Exactly one year ago, a little after midnight, Carson asked me to be his girlfriend! Today, January 1st 2015, we are celebrating our ONE YEAR anniversary! This past year has definitely been the best year of my life. Lots of ups and downs, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. The Lord blessed me by bringing this boy and his amazing family in to my life and I can not thank him enough! I'm so lucky to be in love with my best friend and I can't wait for many more years to come. :) Heres a chronological look through our first year! xoxo, Em
What a whirlwind the past week has been.. shopping, cooking, baking, and more shopping. Another successful Christmas is in the books! I was so ready for Christmas to get here but I'm so sad now that it is gone..but that just gives me more to get excited about for next year. I am so grateful to be able to spend special holidays like Christmas with my family but most of all I am thankful for the birth of little baby Jesus and all he has done for us. I hope Santa was good to everyone and I hope everyone had a happy holiday! Let the New Year's festivities begin!!
xoxo, Em Christmas is TWO DAYS away people! It's Christmas Eve Eve!! Now that I'm in complete Christmas spirit, I thought I would share with y'all how the Heads do Christmas.
I started my morning off with an 8 AM dentist appointment which I usually would not complain about, but today I had to get three cavities filled. Unfortunately, my deep love for candy does not mix with my sensitive, cavity prone teeth. I'm such a baby when it comes to getting cavities filled that my mom has to be there holding my hand and I have to stay on laughing gas (which is usually not used on patients over 12) the entire time they are working on my mouth. I hope y'all enjoy this REALLY cute selfie (that I do not remember taking ) I took after being on gas for about an hour. After opting out of school for the day, going home with a completely numb face and taking a nice nap, it was time to get up and actually do something with my day. I got dressed and headed to work, dressed in mostly black, as it was a rainy, dreary day and I was still feeling pretty dreary myself. Dress: Target
Boots: Coach Scarf: who even knows Stockings: Target I apologize for the blurry picture, but today I am happy to be reassured that there are good people out there who genuinely care and want to help others, even though they may not even know them. I walked in to the restroom this morning at school to find this notecard taped to the glass mirror. The card reads "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves lives of those who are crushed in the spirit" Psalm 34:18. There was not a name of a person or even a club written on the card to indicate who may have put it there. Some random person who I most likely don't even know and have maybe never even seen or heard of did this. It is such a good feeling to know that there are people out there who are willing to take the time, even to do something as simple as writing a verse on a card and putting it in a bathroom, to inform and encourage others to get to know Jesus. I love this because you never know what people are going through and this one little sentence could be enough to brighten their day or even encourage them to find out more about God. I think whoever did this could not have picked a more appropriate verse, especially for a girl's bathroom. It says "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted" and I don't think that that is only referring to relationships. Being a senior in high school I've been broken hearted over boys, friends, family, school, sports, and many other things. I think almost anyone can relate to this verse and hopefully it reached out and touched others today like it did to me. I absolutely love seeing these little random acts of kindness and encouragement and I think that this world needs more of it. To whoever did this, if you are reading this, thank you.
